🎶 Class Structure:
These are 1 hour, ongoing private 1:1 flute lessons ideal for intermediate or advanced players. You will receive personalized guidance and instruction based on your needs and musical goals.

🍏 How I Will Teach:
I will teach according to your unique needs and musical goals! During the first lesson, I will spend some time learning about your background, prior musical experience (if applicable) and determining your overall goals for lessons. After our initial lesson, I will structure our subsequent lessons to prioritize your goals and needs. Everyone is a little bit different. Some learners want to grow quickly and seek a rigid and structured approach while others are focused on keeping things laid back, easy and fun! Wherever you fall on the spectrum is fine, but I will typically spend some time getting to know you in order to determine how to serve you best!

👩🏼‍🏫 Teaching Style:
My dedication to my private students is unwavering and I enjoy building lasting bonds with them! As a teacher, I have often been described as "passionate", "caring" and "tech-savvy" by parents, students and administrators. While I enjoy creating structured lesson plans, I tend to embrace organic learning moments as they arise.

🙋🏽 Learner Interaction:
Since these are private 1:1 lessons, you will receive complete one-one-one attention where I'll address your strengths and weaknesses with the overall goal of helping you become the best player you can be!

🧠 Required Experience or Knowledge:
Learners should have a minimum of 4 years of flute playing experience before enrolling in hour-long sessions. These sessions are ideal for intermediate or advanced level flute players. Please visit my teacher profile for 30 minute sessions which are ideal for beginners.

As your teacher, I bring over two decades of professional flute-playing experience to our private lessons. I obtained my B.A. in music education from Kean University and have my standard license in K-12 music education. For the past decade, I have dedicated myself to teaching music, both within public school systems and through private instruction.
