Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this course, students will improve their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in preparation for the Cambridge Flyers A2 examination. Lessons follow the Fun for Flyers curriculum (Cambridge 4th Edition) by Anne Robinson & Karen Saxby and is best targeted towards A2 learners. I will provide students with the PDF edition on the book (upon enrollment) and will share my screen during class time, so we can work through the various activities together. My approach with learners is very patient and kind. I emphasize positive reinforcement as much as possible and let the students know that their hard work is paying off. Throughout the class, students receive lots of praise—words like "Good work! You're doing great! Excellent job!"—to keep them motivated and confident in their progress. Expertise: I have lots of experience teaching international students (Chinese, Russian, Korean) and have been doing so for the past six years. I've taught students between the age ranges of 3-13 in the past. ESL companies I have worked for include: Qkids and Bilingval. In total I've taught over 1000+ classes online. I also hold a 120 hour TESOL certification. Please message before class with information you would like me to know about your learner and/or how I can best tailor lessons to their needs. Thank you and I look forward to being apart of your child's English language journey!
