Students will receive individualized 1-to-1 instruction in ELA/ reading based on their needs. As a certified teacher, I can help with phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, reading fluency, vocabulary, or reading comprehension.

I have over ten years of experience teaching elementary reading in public schools. I also have my Masters in Reading and I am completing the LETRS training to stay up to date on the current best practices in literacy and language. I have worked with students who were below grade level and those who were working above their grade level.
Homework Offered
Optional depends on the individual student's needs. If the family requests homework it will be offered through PDF worksheets, Pear Deck, or Khan Academy based on the family's preference. New homework will be assigned when previous homework is completed.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The learner's progress will have informal assessments to assess their progress. If families would like more formal assessments or written progress reports this can be requested for an additional cost due to extra preparation involved.Grades Offered
I have over 15 years of experience working with a variety of learners (ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia). As this is a 1-on-1 class I personalize the class to each learner and their learning style and needs.
*Khan Academy and Pear Deck will be used for homework at the family's request
