Class Experience

Beginner Level

In this private class, I will help students strengthen and enhance their coding skills.  Do they have a new robot, app, or coding site you want to learn how to use?  I'm here to help.  You choose what you want to learn!  

We can learn coding using the following site: 
- Hour of Code
- Scratch Jr. 
- Scratch 
- mblock 
- Blockly 
- Python 3.11 
-MU editor for Python 

I have experience with the following robots: 
- Code-a-pillar 
- Robot Mouse
- OSMO Coding with Awbie
- OSMO Jam 
- OSMO Duo...

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Code.org
Scratch
Python
Code with MU

Python 3.11 and Code with MU are coding editors and will be used to learn Python coding in class.  These programs are free and do not require special logins or user information. You will have to download for class should you choose to learn Python.  

Scratch is also a free site, but you will need to create an account to save your projects.
