Class Experience

As a proud homeschool graduate, I understand how overwhelming it can be to plan for life after high school, especially when traditional paths might not seem like the best fit. When I was exploring my options, I wanted to continue learning in a way that suited me—at my own pace, from home, or while on the road during family adventures. In fact, I recently earned my doctorate through a non-traditional route, proving that you can achieve your educational goals in ways that work for you.

Whether you're considering trade school, apprenticeships, community college, traditional universities, or alternative education models, it's essential to explore all your options to find the path that aligns with your interests and needs. My personal journey led me to discover a variety of educational pathways beyond the typical college experience, and I’m passionate about helping others do the same.

My doctoral research focused on supporting high schoolers in planning their futures, and I believe every student deserves guidance during this important stage of life. My mission is to help those who feel that a traditional college route may not be the best option by introducing them to the wide range of possibilities available.

In this class, I offer personalized 1:1 future planning sessions designed to help you explore all educational and career options available to you. Whether you're interested in trade schools, community colleges, apprenticeships, traditional universities, or alternative learning paths, these sessions are tailored to your unique goals and circumstances.

Here’s what we can discuss:

- Thinking about attending a traditional university? We'll explore programs that match your academic and career aspirations.
- Considering trade school or apprenticeships? We’ll look into hands-on learning opportunities that can jumpstart your career.
- Exploring community college as a stepping stone? We can map out how this option might fit into your long-term goals.
- Want to pursue a combination of different pathways? I can help you blend various educational experiences to create a plan that works for you.

Education doesn’t have to follow a single path, and together, we’ll craft a plan that aligns with your learning style and future aspirations.

Before our 1:1 session, I'll send you a brief questionnaire to help me understand your goals and preferences, so we can make the most of our time together.
