I'm Vicki and I am a fully qualified teacher and I have been teaching students from age 3-11 in a school for the past 14 years. Teaching is my passion and I love to teach in a fun, hands on way. I think it's so important to make learning fun as this is how students learn best.
This class is a specific phonics/reading based class. I have many years of experience in helping students learn to read from phase 1 to phase 6 phonics.I will tailor each class around your students level and we will learn a different sound/digraph or trigraph each week - depending upon your learner's level.
Here is a guide which shows the sounds we would learn, depending upon your learner's level:

Phase 2 phonics:
s, a, t, p, i ,n, m, d, g, o, c, k, ck, e, u, r, h, b, f, ff, l, ll, ss
Phase 3 phonics:
j, v, w, x, y, z, zz, qu, ch, sh, th (voiced and unvoiced) ng, ai, ee, igh, oa, oo, oo, ar, or, ur, ow, oi, ear, air, ure, er
Phase 4 phonics:
Consonant blends and clusters, e.g - st, mp, nd, nt, nk, ft, sk, lt, lp, lf, lk, 
Phase 5 phonics:
ay, ou, ie, ea, oy, ir, ue, aw, wh, ph, ew, oe, au, ey, a-e, e-e, i-e, o-e, u-e
Phase 6 phonics:
y, dge, ge, gn, kn, wr, le, eer, ture, mb, al, a, o, ey, war, wor, s, wa, qua, tion
