Every week, I will provide a write up of your child's progress. It will include what we worked on and what will come next.Class Experience
This math tutoring course is designed for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Meetings will occur weekly for 30 minutes. If you would like more meetings or a longer sessions, please send me a message. Each class will be designed and catered based on student need. Once I get to know your learner's needs, I will plan for our weekly sessions and give feedback. Some of my favorite tools are my document camera and a simple whiteboard and marker. It would help for your child to have a whiteboard and marker as well. Pencil and paper are also helpful. Some examples of lessons might include, but are not limited to, understanding how to represent addition and subtraction with the use of objects, fingers, etc. An example for a 1st grade student would be to learn place value to solve double-digit addition and subtraction problems. An example for a 2nd grade student might be learning about repeated addition and how it builds a foundation for multiplication.
