1:1 Math Tutoring for Primary/Elementary/KS2 Students – Build Confidence & Bridge Gaps!

My name is Melissa, I’m here to help students build confidence and master math through personalized, engaging lessons, tailored just for them!

With a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching (Primary), a Diploma in Sport & Recreation, and over 8 years of experience in 1:1 private math tutoring, I’m dedicated to helping students gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

In my personalized 35-minute sessions, I focus on closing math gaps and deepening understanding. 

There are three formats that our 1:1 tutoring lessons can follow:

OPTION ONE: Bridging Gaps from a Gap Assessment.
In option one, our first lesson includes a gap assessment to identify areas of need, and from there, I tailor each lesson to either bridge those gaps 

OPTION TWO: Support Current or Up & Coming.
In option two, I will provide extra support with current schoolwork. This would require parents to inform me 24hrs prior to the lesson of what your child needs to work on. This can be directed by their classroom teacher and can include homework help.

OPTION THREE: Mixture of both.
Option three would be initially based on gaps identified in the gap assessment that I will carry out in the first lesson. Lessons will be planned in advance based on gaps however parents may contact me 24hrs in advance if there is anything that their child needs or would like to work on from school.

Knowing which option you prefer upon enrollment allows me to be prepared in advance.
