Customize your exploration of literature in this individualized 1:1 workshop. This workshop is focused on close reading and writing critical analysis responses and will be tailored to the needs of the learner. While each learner’s goals and outcomes may be different, my hope is always that they will learn to think more critically about literature and grow their writing and composition skills.
My undergraduate major was in literature and writing with a focus on writing and I've been teaching English since 2009. I have taught English at both the middle school and high school levels, including AP Literature and Composition, in both public and private schools.
Homework Offered
Learners are responsible to complete the assigned reading and writing assignments each week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
I give extensive feedback on reading responses focused on literary analysis and composition skills. Learners are welcome to submit as many revisions as needed for feedback.Grades Offered
Learners will be responsible for purchasing any novels, plays, or anthologies we select together for study.
