Description

Class Experience

After this lesson, students will be able to:

• Create an organized list of ideas when brainstorming
• Use ideas from brainstorming to create a captivating book review
• Present their book review stating their opinion and recommendation
• Engage critically with a text
• Respond personally to a range of different writing genres
There is no homework assigned for this class. However, I encourage students to complete their final drafts and upload them into the classroom to obtain feedback. They also have the option to message me through Outschool communication.

Supply List: • Paper and pencils to take notes • It is helpful to choose a book to discuss in class. Be sure to have it available for our lesson, so that you can refer to it in our discussion. ---------------------- * Class may end a few minutes early based on student interaction. ** As per Outschool policy, only the registered student is able to take this class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
