During this 9 week course, your student will increase their knowledge about the process of using the scientific method, and they will complete a science fair project.

Homework Offered
Each week will require the student to further develop his understanding of the scientific method. Student will be required to research and construct their science fair project as each week presents the topics for study.
4+ hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Teacher review of proposed science fair project to determine if it follows the scientific method standards.
Grades Offered
This full course will require handouts provided by the teacher and experiment materials provided by the parent.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Parents will be asked to assist with certain part of the project such as purchasing supplies with the student. However, the science fair project should be independently completed by the student.
