Beginner Level
Hello family and friends, welcome to my ESL Classroom! This is an ongoing, interactive English class where students can practice their English skills with a TESOL certified CAN4U Kids English Teacher. We will practice discussing things that interest them, proper pronunciation, and perfecting fluency. This class alternates from both free talk classes, and instructional classes-- both allow conversations between student and teacher. Students will gain confidence with speaking English with this class that can be customizable with parents and learners. Parents can email me with specifics of with what they want their children to learn (ABCs, Numbers, Colours, Conversation, Grammar, etc.) Parents can also request Homework to be given to their children, as well as request a 1:1 PRIVATE session with me. My class is meant to be a fun, welcoming, and engaging space for your learners to use English! Some examples of classes would be: Color: blue; Numbers 1, 2, 3; Letter: Aa Drawing Focus: Animals Color: yellow; Number 4; Letter Bb Drawing Focus: School Color: red; Number 5, Letter Cc Drawing Focus and sentence practice: Boats, cars, planes Color: orange; Number 6, Letter Dd Drawing Focus: Dinosaurs Color: purple; number 7, Letter Ee Drawing Focus: Sun and Outdoor Things Color: green, Number 8, Letter Ff, Drawing Focus: Family **Parents can also request 1:1 classes with me around any topic they prefer or topic they want their learners to work on. Parents are also encouraged to send me a message if alternate times are needed**
Learning Goals
In each class, students will learners will learn and work on listening, speaking, reading, grammar, spelling and vocabulary skills of different topics.

Students should come prepared with a pen/pencil, a white board with a white board marker, and the readiness to learn!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! My name is Teacher Caitlin and I am so excited to work with your child in my online classroom!
I am passionate about creating an engaging and fun classroom environment. I have experience working in Pre-School, Elementary School, and High School settings with vulnerable youth. I have taught in kindergarten classes all the way through to high school level classes and have a passion for helping students achieve success in their learning. In addition to this, some of my favourite topics to teach are those that have to do with social-emotional skills, creative studies, and life-skills. Seeing students implement strategies into their everyday lives that will help them to be successful into adulthood brings me great joy.
When I’m not teaching, I love being outside, enjoying time with my family and friends, and painting! I currently live in the beautiful Muskoka, Canada and love to explore what my beautiful hometown has to offer!
My classroom is a happy and engaging place to be, I strive to create a comfortable environment for children and youth to use to express themselves and learn. Students will all be able to actively participate in our learning throughout each class. I hope to see you soon!
