Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 12
In this tailored private one one one lesson, learners will have a chance to either build up their vocabulary, learn grammar through various sentence structures, get tailored assistance on their pronunciation, or practice conversing on a variety of subjects in the English language. The focus of this class will be on speaking so that students will be able to practice their conversation skills. If you would like your learner to also work on spelling, writing, reading, or something else connected to the English language, just let me know so that we can tailor our lessons to accommodate your learners' needs as much as possible.

This class is great for both native speakers needing some extra help as well as for students who are learning English as a second language! Feel free to let me know if there is a specific area your learner needs to focus on so that we can make good use of our class time.

Listed below are a few example lesson plans for both younger learners as well as for more advanced learners and teens. (The lesson outlines below are just examples so we can always change things to fit your learner's individual needs.)

Example of a Vocabulary Building Lesson Plan:

I have been training students in English speaking for over 12 years! My students come from several different countries from around the world. I taught English for many years in Asia and hope to one day again! In the meantime, I am really enjoying teaching students on-line. I have held private English speaking classes for children ages 1-19. I specialize in helping students learn English as a second language and I often use prop or pictures in class to keep children engaged. I've been a judge more than once for English speaking competitions in Asia and I have helped students practice conversational English in both one-on-one and classroom settings. I hold a TESOL certificate which allows me to teach English in both non-native and native English speaking countries to speakers of foreign languages.
