Assessment
Weekly informal assessments will be provided through questioning and answering. Teacher will message the student's parent after each session to provide feedback. Formal assessments will be available at the parent's request.

Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Does your child need support with growing as a mathematician, reader or writer? Please message me before the lesson so I can create a customized lesson for your child. I will communicate with you and assess your child to best understand their needs.  For Math, I will use my experience as an Elementary Special Education teacher to work on number concepts, computation skills, and word problems. Some examples of the math skills include: counting, number identification, addition/subtraction (with or without regrouping), multiplication/division and working with fractions. For  I will include visuals, storytelling and videos to help engage your learner. For Reading, I can work on decoding, comprehension, fluency and more! In Writing, we can work on very beginning skills (like labeling pictures and sentence writing) to more advanced skills (like paragraph writing and short responses). These sessions are held 1:1 so your child will get my full attention.

Learning Needs
As a certified Special Education teacher, I have experience in creating lessons that are tailored to students with unique learning needs (learning disabilities, speech/language impairment, ADHD, ASD).
