In this ongoing 1-on-1 class, lessons will be personalized to meet students where they are. We can do cursive or print handwriting, or a combination of the two styles. We will look at uppercase and lowercase letters, and how to put those letters into words using the correct spacing. We can even work on writing numbers if that is an area where your learner needs help.
I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years and have used the correct path of motion based on the Science of Reading. I believe students learn in lots of different ways and will use multisensory instruction so students are able to learn the way they do best. 

Why my class?
- I have my B.A. in Elementary Education. 
-I have over 6 years of classroom experience teaching preschool and kindergarten. I also have 10+ years of volunteer teaching experience with ages 0-12. Experience caring for individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
-I have excellent classroom management utilizing positive reinforcement to help promote intrinsic motivation in students. 
-Each class will be interactive and exciting, and will have the same routine throughout this will help students feel confident and will be more comfortable engaging in the classroom. 
-Extra practice will be sent out each week corresponding with our lessons, that students can complete outside of class to help reinforce what we are learning.
-Inclusive classroom setting where all children are appreciated, cared for, and accepted!
-Class will be teacher directed but there will be lots of opportunity for lots of student sharing and engagement!
