1:1 Cursive Handwriting-14-18 Yrs.
Class Experience
US Grade 9 - 12
Cursive is quickly becoming a lost art. Student are not learning cursive handwriting as much in schools, but in order for students to be able to read cursive writing in real life situations, they will need to learn to write it first. Students must know how to print the whole alphabet before they can learn cursive handwriting. Students will learn and practice each letter of the Alphabet in cursive handwriting. Each week we will cover 6-8 letters of the alphabet, along with a couple of words...
- Student will be given step by step instructions on how to write each letter and words. Students will be expected to practice at home each week.
I am homeschooling mom of 20+ years and I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology. I also have taught all three of my kids cursive. Now the schools are not teaching this lost skill and I believe it is something students need to know.
