1:1 Critical Thinking Tutoring

The lessons will be written and geared to the individual needs of the learner. Tutoring could be in reading, math, spelling, grammar, GATE type activities, or other needs of the learner. Learners learning styles can be identified and they can be taught by their own learning style.  The teacher has been teaching since 1982 in public schools teaching in regular education and special education. Assessment will be an on-going part of the tutoring and lessons will be adjusted accordingly. Additional practice on various concepts may be shared from time to time to be completed outside of class time, depending on the individual and specific goals for that student/learner. Please tell me about your child so that I can best know how to help them.  You know your own child better than anyone and your input is essential.  The format of this class is designed for those that do not wish to have to sign up for group classes every week, but that have personalized reasons for wanting blocks of lessons instead. These may include (but are not limited to) those in charter schools who are being reinbursed for classes. Schedules can and should be adjusted according to the needs of the learner and teacher.
