I'm looking forward to returning refreshed and energized.*** 🪜Through a brief writing sample created during class, I can observe many strengths and weaknesses that are happening in your writing. Class Structure: Warm Welcome, Model, 3 minute Writing, Evaluation via Conversation/ Warm Goodbye 🌄Gain an awareness the six writing traits and how these areas impact their writing: ideas, word choice, sentence fluency, organization, voice, and conventions. Learn about strengths, weaknesses, & neutral areas in your sample. ADHD Friendly. 🏜️Written analysis posted within classroom following Writing Assessment class meeting. This meeting is following by a second meeting where teacher meets with the student and goes over strengths, weaknesses, and neutral areas. Then the tables turn, and the student is allowed to rip the teacher's three minute writing to shreds. :) Teacher suggests two meetings in succession: Meeting 1 Writing Sample Created & Evaluation via Conversation Meeting 2 Turn the Tables, Now Student Gets to Evaluate Teacher's 3-minute Writing *Students will need to have their camera on and participate fully. *I will keep note of which lesson your student has completed, in case a break is needed due to vacation or absence. *This is not a lecture type of class.
