1:1 Beginners Photography ~ Get Creative With Your Camera

Do you want to take cool photos and get creative with your camera, phone or tablet? Are you curious about how light works with cameras to make pictures? Then this class is for you!

In this Private class the learner will benefit from having one-to-one interaction for the entirety of the class, as I teach them the fundamentals of photography so they can get creative and hands-on with their cameras. I can also custom the class to what the student is particularly interested in learning. 

You can use any type of camera, tablet or phone! If you have a DSLR or mirrorless camera then you can opt to learn about how to use your camera on manual mode (off automatic mode).

Each class is highly interactive, and filled with interesting photographic themes which are sure to engage the learner, and inspire their imagination. 

Students with cameras:
Understanding the Exposure Triangle (ISO, Shutter Speed & Aperture) and the inner workings of a DSLR camera:
They will learn about the Exposure Triangle by exploring in depth how ISO, shutter speed and aperture work together to create images with light. The inner workings of how a camera functions may sound complicated, but I have put together a fun slideshow presentation, with plenty of pictures to help engage the student and show them how it all works. I will be explaining each element of the presentation whilst allowing the student time to ask questions and have short discussions on the topics.

Students with a phone or tablet:
Fundamental technical and creative skills of photography including composition, angles, lighting and more.  

I end the class with a short enjoyable quiz so they can see what they've learnt in a short period of time. Students are welcome to discuss the questions if they find it easier to work the answers out together! 

I am enthusiastic teacher who encourages curiosity - I have been a professional photographer for over 7 years so I am happy to answer photography questions students may have. 

No prior knowledge of photographer is needed, beginners welcome! Students who have done photography before may also learn something as we go in depth into each element of the exposure triangle.
