Case by case, there may be up to 30 minutes of homework outside of class depending on the student. It may be a 2 minute challenge that they do daily, or looking up something about a country.Assessment
I will do informal assessments in each class to gauge your student's understanding for the chosen topic, and I will give feedback to you on their performance if requested.Class Experience

Is your student struggling with the continents, or long division? Early learning is so very important to setting up the foundation for future skills. If your child is having a hard time with something, please let me help. Each session is tailored made for your student in the topic of your choice. We will start class with talking, as I gauge your students mood, and we will go on to a lesson based on their needs. We play games, have challenges and mini fun verbal quizzes. Some common topics for tutoring are : Math: Addition and subtraction with regrouping Multiplication facts Division of three and four digit numbers Plus more Social Studies: Early colonial life/indigenous tribes/adaptations of settlers Presidents Plus more Science: Weather Cycle Mechanisms Physics Geography: Countries States Rivers Plus more Please also see my other tutoring class listing, it is a shorter amount of time and allows me to gauge your students level and help to become more familiar with their learning style. After signing up, please message me with what you would like your student to be tutored in and I will let you know the activities that we will do. If you need a longer class or a shorter class, please let me know! Please note that for this class, I will wait 20 minutes prior to ending the class if students do not show up.
