I have been teaching fashion, textiles, sewing and art in school for 14 years. I am a qualified secondary school teacher in the UK.

Student may need to work on their portfolio outside of lessons.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

This list will vary depending on the project that the student decides to make so supplies needed will be updated in the classroom each week. Sketchbook Sewing Machine Sewing equipment -thread, pins, scissors etc Art supplies - Pencils, eraser, glue, paint, watercolour pencils etc. Scrapbook/collaging materials Fabric - this will vary dependant on the student's project.
