Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten
During each 30-minute session, the student will receive one-on-one help in the area selected by the parent. These sessions will provide the student with the consistency needed to build strong reading skills and teach them to use the strategies required to solve problem words or math problems. I can follow the parent's suggestions, or if you would like, I can choose the strategies to be taught during each session. The main goal of guided reading is to assist the student with using reading strategies, learning vocabulary, increasing fluency, gaining comprehension, and learning to read independently.
Homework Offered
-The student should read independently for 10 to 20 minutes each day. - A parent should read to the child each day because children learn more about books when experienced readers read and discuss stories with them. - Make flashcards for each new sight word.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Reading assessments are given at the beginning and end of the course.Grades Offered
