Homework
If students come for multiple sessions on the same topic, I recommend that they practice the skills and tips I teach during the class before the next session so that we are able build upon them more effectively. The skills to practice will vary based on the student's needs.Class Experience

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I'm Amy Davis and I'm passionate about teaching and helping kids learn. I am an 8th generation teacher and have taught kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade in public school, right here in the hometown where I was born and raised. I have watched, helped, volunteered, and taught professionally my whole life. I believe that learning can and should be a part of real, everyday life. Looking for the opportunities to teach in everyday activities is so much fun—they’re everywhere! I love creativity and coming up with fun and engaging ways to learn. Now that I'm a mother, I'm having great fun living this out on a daily basis. I'm amazed at how much my daughters already know with just a little intentionality. I especially enjoy teaching reading and art, but every subject can be a thrilling experience with a little creativity!
