Students will learn how to read sheet music, thus learning to play the piano. They will further develop their skill the more the teacher works with them. 

I have been teaching in person for over two years. I have helped teach high school level classes along with young classes. I studied with Berklee College of Music Online for a semester to brush up my skills. 

Musical Knowledge: I am well-versed in music theory, including understanding scales, chords, key signatures, intervals, and harmony. I have a strong understanding of musical elements such as rhythm, melody, and form. 

Instrument Proficiency: I play piano, guitar, flute, fiddle, ukulele, and more!

Sight-Reading and Music Notation: I am skilled in reading and interpreting sheet music and can effectively teach students how to read music notation. 

Classroom Management and Lesson Planning: I am skilled in organizing and managing a music classroom, designing lesson plans, and creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I can effectively communicate instructions and concepts to students and maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Homework Offered
The students will be encouraged to practice what they learned throughout the week if possible.
