I am all about understanding concepts because memorizing for its own sake is no fun. We want to get your learner to the place where math is within their grasp, because that's where the real enjoyment and satisfaction of learning begins. Let's dive in!

I plan to focus on topics within algebra and trigonometry such as:
- solving equations for variables, graphing equations, interpreting graphed functions, finding the missing angles within a triangle, solving sine, cosine and tangent functions, vectors and components of forces, and more!

When possible, I like to use a learner's homework as a starting place. The learner then understands the importance of comprehending the content and that helps to answer the "WHY?". I like to ask loads of questions and gauge where a learner is struggling. If we can determine where the breakdown is, then we can move towards mastery of the subject. A large body of examples is also imperative to reinforce the newly mastered concept.

Learners can come with entry level to higher level algebra experience and I can support their growth from there!
