Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 12
Beginner - Advanced Level
I am offering private sessions focused on acting and/or audition prep for students ranging from elementary to high school age! Utilizing my experience as a stage director, I aim to offer thoughtful, empathetic feedback that will help you sharpen your tools as an actor and evoke a feeling from the creatives behind the table. Whether it be a new monologue you're hoping to perfect, a side you need to quickly memorize and perform with a reader, or a musical theatre piece, we will work to create a performance that highlights exactly what you're hoping to get across.

Depending on the performance or audition, I will help give you the specific tools to succeed for that given circumstance (college auditions or pre-screens, professional in-person auditions, self-tapes, acting for screen vs. stage, a school performance, etc.). We will work with tools such as objectives, beat mapping, breath, "verbing" the text, vocal expression, decreasing bodily tension, and more to sculpt your piece to your liking.

I am passionate about helping students overcome stage fright and misconceptions about acting and specifically the audition process. It is my hope that our sessions will leave you feeling confident in the knowledge that YOU are in control of how you present yourself in the audition room. Overall, I aim to make the experience of character-building and practice as fun and exciting creatively as it is rigorous! :)

FOR SCHEDULING - Please let me know if there is not a time listed that works for you and we can work something out!
