Class Experience

In this class, I will teach my students why mobile phones can become very highly addictive and how to avoid it. What to do if you feel you have an issue with smartphones taking over all your free time. How to stay safe and what not to do with a smartphone. Why apps like Tiktok, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Kik Messenger, etc. need caution. 

This class is perfect for students aged 9 - 17 years old.

Symptoms of phone addiction:
Are they on it more than 1 hour a day?
Are they becoming isolated from family and friends?
Are they lying to others about how often they use it or what they use it for?
Do they become upset and irritable when they’re not allowed to have it?
Are they neglecting work or school to play video games?
Are they avoiding activities they once enjoyed?
Are they often tired because they’re not getting enough sleep?

Did you say yes to any of these? If so, you need this class fast!

The research will be provided to prove how video games can have addictive qualities and the other side effects they can have on the mind and body if spent too long playing them. 
I will show how the phone industry programs phones to be addictive and use up as much of your time as possible.
How to spot and or deal with phone addiction.
What to do if you feel you have an issue with the screen taking over all your free time. 
How to keep control of your habits once you are back in control of your gaming.
The research will be provided from peer-review papers and research journals to prove how screen time can have addiction qualities and the other side effects they can have on the mind and body if spent too long watching them. 
I will show how the media industry uses ways to make the mobile phone addictive and use up as much of your time as possible.

No experience is required to take this class.

*Please be aware I try to teach all of my classes, to at least 2 students as I feel it provides a better teaching and learning experience. If the minimum amount of students is not reached 24 hours before the start of the course, students will be moved to the next available section at a similar time.

Please note, this class will highlight to students how much of their lives they are wasting on screens and the harmful effects this has on their minds, bodies and relationships. Some students can find the realization that they have a screen addiction problem profoundly distressing. After this class, please ensure that you speak to your child about what we have covered and be prepared to offer the support they will need to overcome their addiction. You may wish to approach local counselling services to find out what professional support is available to you. Please be aware that addiction is a problem, whether it is screen time, video games, drugs, alcohol or any other addictive behaviour. If your child identifies that they have a problem during this class please seek professional help immediately.

He is a fully insured fire performer with many skills including bubbleology, staff spinning, juggling and stilt walking, to name but a few. 

As a serial entrepreneur who founded four successful companies before the age of 35, my drive to succeed in life began in my teens when I realised the power of positive motivation. I was lucky enough to have a good mentor who guided me through the intricacies of financial management which helped me to understand the value of money, how to identify and seize opportunities to make money and how to manage an investment portfolio. 

Johnathan also teaches conversational English to children and adults across the world.
