Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
In Ms. Julie's classes, our focus is always on keeping kids connected, engaged, learning and smiling. In our 123's classes, we learn about numbers and early math literacy skills. Feel free to jump into the class at any point in its run; we'll do something new each week, so your learner won't be behind if they didn't start at the beginning.

In every 30-minute class we will:
- 👋🎵 Sing good morning and check on our friends' feelings
- 🗓️ Check our calendar and learn about the date and the weather
- 🧮 Learn about a new math concept and/or number
- 🎯 Sing or play a fun and silly game to solidify our new knowledge
- 📚 Read and interact with a theme-related story
- 🗣️ Share out with our friends
- 👋🎵 Sing a goodbye song

Our class will include lots of movement, so students will need to be able to stand up, and will need at least enough room to spin with their arms out.

⏰ I prioritize student voice in my classes, so depending on how much my learners have to day on any given day, classes can run up to 5 minutes over their allotted time. I will always give learners the option to say goodbye at the end of the formal class time.

🤫 To limit background noise and distraction, students will be muted unless it is their turn to talk. 🔇 As a teacher, I am only able to request that your learner unmute; I cannot unmute them myself! 📢 If your child is unable to reliably unmute their microphone, please stay close by so that you can assist. I will help children develop this technological literacy as our classes together go forward.

📝 At the end of class, I will provide an optional themed extension activity to keep the fun times rolling throughout your day, wherever it may take you!

Feel free to sign up for one class at a time, or to join each week to study a different math concept!
