1-1 Tutoring Session (PK-4)

Looking for a 1-1 intervention teacher to help your PK, K, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade learner reach all of their goals in Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Math? Look no further as I will help your learner grow and succeed, one class at a time. This is a ONE-TIME initial class to set ourselves up for weekly tutoring together. If you choose to continue with me, I plan lessons according to  your learner's INDIVIDUAL needs, goals, strengths, and interests.  In this class, families will be involved in a consultation with myself to discuss what tutoring with me entails and what each session will look like. Additionally, we will discuss your learner's needs, learning style, goals, and more! If you choose to continue with 1-1 Tutoring, we will schedule weekly sessions according to our schedules! Want to work on phonics, reading, writing, or speaking? Is your learner wanting to work on number sense, addition, multiplication, and more? Look no further. Allow me to support your learners growth so that they can reach their highest threshold of success while continuing to learn to use a growth mindset. I look forward to meeting you, for the love of learning. Your child will master phonics, reading, writing, and math skills in order to be a successful learner in their current grade and beyond. Content will be tailored to YOUR child as an individual. For example, if your child is in first grade, we may focus on phonemic awareness, CVC word spelling, sight words, etc.  Or, if your child needs help with number sense, that is what we would work on together! Finally, your learner will also learn and practice to have a "growth mindset" that will allow them to face any obstacle with determination, and hold the power of "yet".  If you choose to continue this 1-1 class, we will follow an interactive “I Do, You Do, We Do” model with a hands on approach. We will integrate technology in to our lessons to ensure that students are engaged, and having fun learning. I use a variety of tools for lessons including games, slides, videos, songs, discussions, and more! All that your learner needs is themselves. My class will not only teach academics, but problem solving as well. Finally, I rely heavily on data that I collect during each class to help inform instruction and intervention for your child going forward.  Please reach out if you have any questions.
