Class Experience

Students will be able to (SWBAT)
  - understand why and when to use Inverse Operations reasoning to solve for an unknown variable.
  - solve for unknown variables in simple 1-step algebraic equations using Inverse Operation reasoning.
  - create simple algebraic equations for others to solve using Inverse Operation reasoning.
none, but available on request for additional practice or feedback.
Pencil and Eraser Notebook paper Colored Pencils (optional) whiteboard & marker (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal Assessment.  An exit ticket problem will be used to gauge student understanding.  No grades will be issued, however if the student is still confused or appears to need additional time, I will reach out to the student individually after the class.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
