How many "pies" make for the area of a circle with radius 3?
Math Peer Help | G. 7-10 | Certified Hon. Specialist teacher is a community of learners that come together on Outschool to share what they’re learning, ask questions, participate in challenges, and get feedback on their projects
Since area of a circle is A=pi(R)^2, the area of a circle with radius 3 is A=pi(3)^2, which is 9pi. So, my answer is: you need 9 "pies" to make the area of a circle with radius 3. :)
