Hello! You're invited to join this Pretend Play Social Club Group! Bring your doll or other toy to play pretend with Ms. Sara and her collection of dolls twice each week. Every learner is welcome to play dolls with us! RSVP by clicking 'enroll' then you will be prompted to introduce yourself and show us your beloved dolls. Ms. Sara will facilitate pretend play while children extend playtime with their inspirational imaginations. The teacher will post themes each week to get playtime started. Learners will be encouraged to share their doll scenes, routines and games. Learners can choose to share their dolls and scenes via pictures, videos, artwork and/or messaging. As the moderator, Ms. Sara will encourage children to respond to each other and extend on the theme together. For example, Ms. Sara will post a video clip playing with her dolls. Group members can respond by showing us their scene for the week. I hope to see you playing too! If you can't post twice each week, that's okay too! You can always participate by responding to group member posts. This is a relaxed, safe space to have fun and play together while meeting friends! I enjoy pretending we're all playing together in the same room when we post videos! 2022: Week of July 4: School Week of July 11: Nursery/Bedtime Week of July 18: Party Week of July 25: Vacation Week of August 1: Animal Visits Students will each have time to share, play and contribute during this group. Hi!
I'm Ms. Sara. I am so excited to be here. I have adored children since I was still a child myself. I have worked with children consistently for over 15 years. I live with my family in Nova Scotia, Canada on a small hobby farm. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Human Resources Graduate Diploma. I’ve also completed Child Development and Child Psychology courses in my spare time… before I was chasing 4 children of my own! Prior to joining Outschool I was working with teachers in our local schools and desperately missed teaching children myself. No matter my educational background or experience, I have always returned to working with children. Knowing I am involved in a child's early education and social emotional learning is the ultimate reward. We moved to a rural area in 2018 so I closed my home-based preschool and began teaching online. This is my passion and my full-time, permanent career. Thank you so much for supporting my dream job! I love teaching and I am so excited to share my classes with all of you! I am an energetic teacher and a child at heart. My classes are often social and positive. During class learners will make connections with new friends and learn together as much as possible. Please reach out if you have any questions.
