This group is for kids who are passionate about Dungeons & Dragons and want to discuss and share their experiences with others who share their interest. As the moderator, I will facilitate discussions and provide resources and support to encourage creative expression and problem-solving. Each week, we'll focus on a different aspect of D&D, such as character creation, world-building, or campaign planning. I'll provide written explanations and examples, and answer questions to help kids better understand and enjoy the game. Additionally, I'll set up interactive activities and challenges for kids to complete on their own. In between our weekly topics, kids will have the opportunity to continue the conversation and share their progress through our group forum. I'll check in regularly to provide feedback and support, and to encourage continued engagement and learning. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you're sure to find something of interest in this group!

Welcome to our Group! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.
Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included.
Learners from all over the world, with different backgrounds, races, ethnicities, abilities, gender identities, religions and body types, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here
Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs.
Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private.
Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated.
Keep language clean and information you share safe. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Swear words, racy videos, and violent images are not allowed. Treat Outschool like a public place, and when in doubt, keep things covered.

I played one in my friend's custom campaign. I like that they can split up and make a little mini version of yourself that you can control

Hi! I'm Jeff the Dungeon Master, an avid gamer of all types, including board games, video games, card games, tactical tabletop, Dungeons & Dragons and more. I play games at both a fun and competitive level and have won several competitions.
I have a wealth of experience working with youth as a soccer coach, scout leader and parent.
At a professional level, for the last 15 years, I've been a web application developer at a large hospital where my focus is on application creation and user experience.
I am passionate about the phenomenal power of gaming as an educational tool. When properly utilized, there are no limits to the benefits!
