Hello and welcome to Crochet Chat! I am Miss Christine and I will be your moderator and resident crochet consultant. :) Here we will share ideas and projects, get answers to crochet questions about stitches and patterns, and connect with other crochet artists from beginner crocheters learning how to make a slip knot, to advanced crocheters making their own patterns! With a parent or guardian's permission, you may share your crochet marketing site on the Crochet Chat 1 time per week, and feel...
Welcome to Crochet Chat! We want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why we have 3 rules we ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful. Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included. Learners from all over the world, with many different backgrounds, participate in our Group. Always be nice and make others, especially new learners, know that they belong and are welcome. Teasing, name-calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here. Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs. Personal things are personal. We want to keep you safe on Outschool, but we also want YOU to understand how to be safe when you're meeting other learners or teachers. Keep your full name, home address, gaming or social media name, email, and school name private. Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated. Keep the language clean and your information safe. If you wouldn't say it or share it with your grandma, don't do it here. Treat Outschool like a public place. If in doubt, leave it out. Rule Breakers - I do not anticipate anything but friendly interaction and fun crochet projects in the chat, but if you notice anyone violating the rules, please reach out to me privately and let me know. Do not engage, let me be the one to address it. Sharing Art - Finally, if you find some pattern that you would love to create that was shared in the chat, reach out to the original poster and get permission to use, recreate, or modify their pattern. If you plan on selling the finished pieces, you may owe them royalty payments per piece, so be sure you discuss any use with the original artist! I cannot be held responsible for stolen crochet art. When you share, it is best to also post use terms such as, "Free to copy for any use," or, "Do not sell my pattern or items created with my pattern."
