This is a great group to share your art, drawing, projects and crafts! It is also a great place to share tips and tricks when it comes to drawing :) Kind and gentle criticism will be welcome! I will be sure to provide feedback when requested and always aim to increase confidence! Additionally every week we will be doing a different drawing prompt based on different themes and ideas! Maybe : Draw this in your style ( where everyone draws the same character in their own style), Christmas themed drawing, draw your favorite subject and many more! There will be fun quizzes and awards such as special art prints, drawings that will be personalized. To have a social experience, students are encouraged to comment, video, drawings, emojis to interact with each others works! The goal of this group is to encourage, share, accept and most importantly create! Anyone can join! However it is recommended to have completed the '' Learn How to Draw - Art Fundamentals for Beginners Level 1-2 (9-14) "prior to joining! this allows students to gain some basic drawing knowledge. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. Happy you are here! this is my biography:
Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
Some fun facts about me:
-I am fluent in Spanish
-I have a big white dog that I love dearly
-My favorite food is Indian and Greek
-I love video games and Pokémon
