Created by Zumba and BabyFirst, the Zumbini program combines music, dance and educational tools for children ages 3-5 of can’t-stop, won’t-stop playing, learning, and fun! Through play, children will develop their cognitive, emotional, language, and fine/gross motor skills! Each week, students will dance and sing to different original Zumbini music. Children will develop balance and rhythm by enhancing motor skills and learning to bounce to the beat, enhance their cognitive skills by simulating both sides of the brain, and develop emotional and language skills through dancing, moving, feeling, and singing.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Dance and a Master's Degree in Teaching. I have been a licensed Zumbini Instructor since 2018.
A scarf (dish towel, burp rag, or a shirt will work too!) as well as one of the following; sticks, egg shakers, drums. They can be wooden spoons, rattles, pots, or homemade instruments! Have water nearby and throw on some comfy clothing to move around in and you're good to go!
Please make sure your child is in appropriate clothing and footwear that they can move well in. They should have plenty of space to move around. Also, please have some water nearby. They may drink water at any point during class.
