課堂經歷
Students will learn to identify the parts of a chicken egg, the number of days it takes for an embryo to develop and hatch successfully into a chick, and how to candle an egg. Slides will be shown to look at both, embryo development and the parts of an egg. Students will participate in a group discussion and be hands on with an egg in front of them. We will practice candling and discuss how and why candling can be used in the real world. A list of required lab materials is posted in the supply list section below. Students are welcome to candle as many eggs as they’d like.
