Want to be a part of a group with similar students and make new friends just like you? Want to learn helpful tips to be your best self? This class is for you! Let's read books just for us! Each novel we will read, the main character struggles with a unique learning need. Find out how they persevere AND how you can too! In this class we will read the following books and discuss in class: Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt-Dyslexia A Boy With A Butterfly Mind by Victoria Williamson-ADHD/ADD The Gray by Chris Baron-Anxiety Reading books about kids just like us, makes us feel included and seen. We’ll learn how each character persevere’s and SOARS using their unique superpowers! Let’s make new friends just like us, read about characters just like us and learn how to use our superpower to SOAR!!

學習需求
This class is inclusive to all learning needs(ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, etc). Teacher is neurodiverse(ADHD/anxiety) and works primarily with students with diverse learning needs.
先決條件
Be able to read or listen to, a middle school novel and discuss.
Your child does not have to be neurodiverse, but they must be encouraging!

Miss Lindsay has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Ed and Early Childhood Ed. She is trained in Orton Gillinghama and Speech to Print literacy instruction. She primarily works with students of unique learning needs, dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety.
