Students gather each week to write to a specific theme... pulled out of a hat! This playful and creative class exposes students to song structure, improvisation, figurative language, rhyme scheme, and basic harmonic function. Zero experience needed! Students will gain an understanding of elements of song sections: chorus, verse, pre-chorus, bridge! They will also participate in singing the song the group writes each week. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014 (BA) Currently pursuing higher education for Music Therapy Masters Certificate in Childhood Mental Health by Institute of Child Psychology 10 years of professional experience as a performing artist and music educator!
