This fun class will be centered on Yoruba culture which is one of the languages in Nigeria. Students are going to learn some of the vocabulary that goes with the topic of the day. They will also learn simple words to use in daily life and for conversation. The class is going to be interactive and fun. Students will also have the opportunity to show and share whatever they have that is African-like, things like clothes, instruments, etc. I love music and we will learn through songs. At the beginning of the class, we will be introducing ourselves and chat about our heritage. I am excited and I am looking forward to meeting your child. Be ready to have FUN!! This class will be ongoing and students are welcome to join at any time. The daily schedule will include a welcome and goodbye song. Week 1: May 30th - June 5th 123'S Week 2: June 6th - June 12th Colors Week 3:June 13th - June 19th ABC'S Week 4: June 20th - June 26th Manners Week 5: June 27th - June 3rd Family Week 6: July 4th - July 10th Animals Week 7: July 11th - July17th Dressing Week 8: July 18th - July 24th Foods Week 9: July 11th - 17th Folklore story Week 10: July 18th - July 24th Conversational words/ sentences
