In this 6 week series, students will learn the proper alignment of 24 basic basic yoga poses, basic yogic breathwork and meditation practices. I was first exposed to yoga in college and it quickly blossomed into a daily practice. For over 20 years, yoga has made me stronger physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It has prepared my body and seen me safely through five pregnancies. Yoga has revitalized my body during times of debilitating suffering due to chronic illness. It has lifted my spirits and reminded me to breath when nothing else could. What I love most about yoga is that it is a never-ending journey, always with something new to discover and with continual opportunities to delve deeper into the practice. I would love to inspire others to experience their own lifelong yogic journey. I am a 500 hr RYT , meditation teacher and have experience teaching online yoga with Ompractice.com and meditation with Meditation.LIVE. I am also a certified Biology teacher and have taught in a classroom and virtually for 15 years, along with homeschooling my own children.
A yoga mat, large towel or yoga strap and a chair or yoga block to use for support would be helpful.
