Math helps children learn critical thinking skills and it is so very important for them to "see" math in order to understand the correct process, especially in the younger grades. I will use a hands-on approach to help your learner understand why and how to get the correct answers. I am a teacher with 27 years of classroom experience and I have taught and provided individualized instruction the last three years on Outschool, tutoring around 100 children. If your learner needs additional help in math or a math challenge, I can take them to the next level. Each lesson will be personalized for your learner so that they will be able to quickly progress in their skills. If you have specific math concepts that need addressed, please send me that list and we will go from there. This class does not have a schedule since each class is personalized for each child, but if you would like to know what we will cover in classes, I am happy to provide that. Although the recommended meeting frequency is twice per week, we can cater the frequency to your specific need. Please let me know if you need to change the frequency.

TYPICAL CLASS ROUTINE:
Greeting/Get to know you time
Class time, including teaching of given topic and practice of that skill
Closing which may include a puppet, a game, or show and tell, depending on the type of class your learner is taking. My goal is to have every child smiling and excited to return to the next class!
