每年四年級的數學和閱讀/文法課程，由有執照的老師授課！

In this ongoing class I combine 2 of my curriculums! Your child will learn, review, and practice standards to help them be successful in 4th grade. We will learn new 4th grade reading and math standards in each class. Each day will be a new lesson, allowing students to have previously missed a day. We will begin each day with reading/grammar lessons, then transition into the math lesson.
Reading lessons will also incorporate several  social studies standards for 4th grade. During the first semester we will learn about famous landmarks, learn how to read maps.  During second semester we will focus on states and capitals, where states are located and important landmarks and landforms in different states. We will also make a book about the states that we as a class live in! This was a favorite thing for most of my students!!  Reading will also include all grammar standards for 4th grade.
You will find I am passionate about having students prove their answers. We will highlight answers in our text and draw pictures and create equations in math. We will discuss possible answers and work together to find the best one. I want students to feel heard and know it's not only ok - but good to make mistakes - it’s how we learn! Students will be encouraged to ask questions - questions give us answers, and answers help us succeed :)
