Students will develop their analytical and critical thinking skills by engaging in independent tutoring with an experienced instructor.
Students will actively engage with academic and creative material that gives them a greater understanding of themselves, their world, and their culture.
Students will have the opportunity to develop their confidence, writing, and communication skills by working on and completing individualized projects with one-on-one guidance.

I have a BA in Philosophy with minors in Political Science and Greek and Roman Studies, as well as an MA in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics and Political Philosophy. I’m the head coach of a competitive high school debate team and teach the liberal arts at a classical school. I’m also a professional creative writer and journalist.

I love helping students of all ages understand and interpret difficult subjects and learn how to crystallize their thoughts in writing and oral communication. I believe studying philosophy is a wonderful way to facilitate this kind of growth and learning.

細節: Again, this is choose-your-own adventure. Students can do as much or as little work outside of one-on-one classes as they choose. If I give your students exercises to work on outside of sessions, I will expect them to follow through. If I'm tutoring them for a formal project or goal, I will expect them to put in the work to do their own research and writing outside of sessions.
