This class offers one-on-one writing support and guidance for students; for this reason, learning will be personalized for each writer. Whether a student is seeking assistance with writing a captivating essay or engaging fictional piece, I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of the individual writer. Using a relaxed teaching style, I provide constructive feedback and guidance for young writers. A student may be working on a current piece, or we can develop one together. I ask your student to bring basic computer skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to grow skills a developing writer!

Writers will strengthen their fluency and cohesion as they focus on the six traits of writing: ideas, organization, voice, sentence fluency, word choice, and conventions. They will learn to use constructive feedback to make effective revisions.其他詳情

I have been teaching for 31 years, from kindergarten through college students. For the last 18 years, I've been teaching middle school ELA and Social Studies and have been tutoring during this time as well. My teaching certifications include English, Social Studies, and Spanish, and I have an M.A. in Educational Psychology.
