Description Class Experience In this class, we will learn to write and/or enhance our writing skills using the 6+ traits of writing. These traits include Ideas (what should I write about + details), Voice (making my writing sound like me), Sentence Fluency (the flow of my writing), Word Choice (enhanced words in my writing), Organization (how to structure my writing), Conventions (the grammar and spelling component), and Presentation (using art to present my writing). This is researched-based...
Students will improve their writing skills using the 6+ Traits of Writing, which includes: Ideas, Voice, Organization, Sentence Fluency, Conventions, Word Choice, and Presentation. Students will create and maintain a writer's notebook.
Art supplies: colored pencils and colored pens, markers, watercolors, lined paper, and colored paper. 1 three-ring notebook(with a clear pocket on the front) + dividers (8 tabs), 3 hole punch. Regular pencils and pens. I will also supply handouts via Google Classroiom
