What will be taught: Students will learn how to revise a weak paragraph by adding sufficient supporting details to develop the paragraph's idea. Students will also learn to revise the topic sentence to make it more precise or more interesting. Students learn how to conclude, or clincher a sentence. Students will end paragraphs with a clincher by reemphasize the main point of a paragraph by restating it in a concluding sentence. Students learn this kind of restatement is called a clincher sentence. Students learn a clincher sentence may also summarize specific or suggest a course of action. How will the lesson be taught: Nearpod, doc cam, discussion, engagement. Some experience in writing paragraphs is helpful. Great for students who want to improve their writing to make it more interesting or want more practice to improve.

父母的引導和規範
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
