All of my classes are always in high demand so I do not list current availability.  If you see any days that this class is "available", that is usually incorrect info. I would be delighted to teach your child and I always try to find a time to meet new students.  Please send me a specific message if you would like to book a class.

In this class we will first discuss  the importance of using interesting words in our writing.  We will practice by changing simple sentences into exciting sentences by substituting  descriptive adjectives for common adjectives. We will talk about how specific words keep the reader engaged and provide a more detailed picture of what the writer intends to convey.   All of my classes are fun and casual to encourage participation.  I tailor each class to the level of the student present.  This is a private lesson, so your child will have my undivided attention.   This is a stand alone class and no previous knowledge is required, as long as the child is reading and writing at grade level. Please note, this is a discussion based class, students will not be writing, but will engage in active conversation.
