Students will get comfortable with writing freely for expression and creativity - a skill that benefits and feeds all other forms of writing that they do. Students will create a new relationship to writing - through the enjoyment and confidence building exercises in this class. Students will learn how to get ideas onto the page without the dreaded writers block. Students will also learn a lot about themselves as they delve into the prompts provided each class. 

I am a writer! I write for work, I write for fun, and I write for personal development in my journal. Along with loving the art and craft of writing, I have been teaching writing - in all its varied forms - for over two decades. The most helpful tool I have found to bring out our inner writer is freewriting! Humans of all ages can re-learn, and gain new appreciation for, the skill of writing through engaging in this fun practice.
