Students will improve all essential skills of the writing process. The student will start with expository writing and end with narrative writing. In between will be argumentative and persuasive. The classes will always start with a review of the essay process, a brainstorming session of topics, reading materials, reading the prompt, reading and highlighting to the prompt, mapping, and writing the rough draft, and the final essay along with the editing process. Each essay will take approximately five sessions to complete including a bit of homework. 

I have my Master's in Education and twenty-eight years in the classroom and as a homeschool mama. My specialty is ELA, with a passion for all things writing. I currently teach 7th grade ELA.
